UPDATE: Pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VI are now officially available. The game can be pre-ordered from both PlayStation Store, as well as from Microsoft Store (for Xbox), and Rockstar Games is offering two editions:
- Standard Edition – 79.99 EUR (or 399.90 RON)
- Ultimate Edition – 99.99 EUR (or 499.90 RON)
More than two years after the last trailer and more than a year since Grand Theft Auto VI was delayed to November 19, 2026, we’re finally getting the long-awaited news.
Pre-orders begin on June 25.
Along with the news about pre-orders, we also have the reveal of the cover art for GTA VI.
And perhaps the best “gift” of all: we also have 8 seconds of gameplay footage.
We’re all hoping now that June 25 will bring not only pre-orders, but also a new trailer. The online community is already buzzing, and with every day that passes without any news or new information, there’s more and more speculation—ranging from the game being canceled or delayed again to discussions about gameplay elements, the campaign, and the characters.
Personally, I have to admit that I’ve never looked forward to a game like this in my entire 33-year life, and I often felt almost desperate as time went by, and there was still no word from Rockstar Games, but I believe right now that we’re very, very close to the game’s release. I don’t think we’ll see another delay, and I believe that, in the near future, the marketing campaign will kick into high gear. We’ll have five months during which we’ll receive new information, campaign details, screenshots, and plenty of trailers featuring gameplay footage.
We're also keeping a close eye on the pre-order options that will be available, as well as their prices. It's a topic that's been widely discussed in the media and online, and everyone is wondering whether Rockstar Games will set a new pricing standard for video games.
